InkblotEngine

A living shape, rendered in motion.

A standalone Jetpack Compose demo and reusable rendering engine for continuously morphing signed-distance-field inkblots with animated color, distortion, glow, and Smoke Veins shimmer.

A current debug APK is available for Android testing. The reusable engine is currently distributed inside the demo app rather than as a published library artifact.

INSIDE THE PROJECT

InkblotEngine
at a glance.

A procedural inkblot renderer that turns signed-distance fields into a living, configurable visual system.

Morph continuously

Watch the renderer move through a deterministic sequence of organic SDF shapes instead of crossfading finished images.

Tune the atmosphere

Adjust ink and glow color, speed, distortion, glow strength, and Smoke Veins shimmer from the demo settings.

Render across Android

Use the AGSL backend on API 33+ or the allocation-stable Canvas fallback on API 26–32 with the same rendering contract.
